I bought my home last June 2011 from Chris McKenty. I started with another realtor at another agency who made me very uncomfortable, he was pushy, inappropriate, and extremely unprofessional. He only showed me a few homes and when I found one I liked he kept pushing me to settle quickly. I did not feel he had my best interest in mind. I decided to back out of working with him because of the reasons listed above and others. I contacted Chris McKenty and asked if he would work with me. From the first meeting with Chris I was already very impressed. Chris was at the home early and had already looked at it before I showed up. He also had a list of other homes in the area selling for around the same price so I could compare and contrast what I was getting or not getting for my money. The first day I met with Chris I put a bid in on a home. Chris worked diligently and kept me updated throughout the whole process. Since this would be my first home purchase, Chris patiently explained the whole process to me, he took the time to look over what I could afford and spoke with me about buying a home that was too close to my budget. Although I did not buy the first home I put a bid on, I did buy a home from Chris that I absolutely love, feel comfortable and safe in, and have no regrets. I was very pleased with my experience with Chris and Bernadette. They were very well-acquainted with the current real estate market in the area, and my house sold within a relatively short period of time. I had Bernadette show me houses for about a month and a half. I rarely got any recommendations. She seemed to wait for me to send her a list of houses and request to go out. After a few viewings of a house that had our interest we decided to keep looking. Then Bernadette dropped us and told us that she knew someone else that might be interested in taking us out to keep looking admitting that she really didn't know the area that well and it was too much of a ride from her office.
