Most realtors know the process and can negotiate, but what separates Matt is that he always has your best interests at the top of his priority list. We switched realtors after being on with a very high profile high volume realtor who we never heard from once we signed with her. Although we had limited contact with her "team", other than for the five showings we got over six months, we had to initiate it. Responses often took a week and were less than satisfactory. Matt was a very welcome change for us. Personable and extremely responsive to our needs. He exerted himself personally on our behalf and did what he could to sell our place in an unheard of 60 days (from signing him to closing!) at a price higher than what 2 other agents we interviewed wanted us to list it for. He tailored the experience to our challenges (a 2 1/2 year old) while getting the job done (approximately 35 showings in 30 days). Selling one's home is very high stress in this market yet being able to bounce ideas off our agent, seek advice, and get quick knowledgable responses helped immeasurably. We gave him only 3 stars for local knowledge simply because we were in a small pocket of the city that not many people know about and although familiar with general area he didn't know our specific streets (completely understandable). Further, he did seem to know Chicago in general very well. Matt was extremely helpful throughout our search for our first home, setting up viewings at the last minute and always responding to our inquiries instantaneously.
