My fiance and I had a wonderful experience working with Dean. He was attentive and through and always made time for us, even on a rainy day or when we were losing daylight hours. He and I both grew up in the area where my fiance and I were looking so I knew he was very honest about certain areas of the city and the price points that we should take and/or negotiate at. He even had us look at a home that was not ready yet to be put on the market but thought it fit our criteria. It was a friend of his that had been speaking to him about selling and he brought us up and they agreed to let us take a look. Dean was very patient with us through the process of choosing our home. Both my fiance and I had specifics we both wanted (as usual she ultimately won out) and Dean understood and counseled us along the way. "If it doesn't feel like home when you walk in, it's not your home," he told us. We put in two offers before we found the right home and he helped negotiate with those initial two and let us down gently that they weren't going to work out. When he brought us to the ultimate home it was a busy day for him and he didn't mind at all. I went to see it with him first and knew immediately it was the home for us. I told him I was 99.9% sure we'd be putting an offer in that night, but my fiance needed to see it first. I was sure she would fall in love with it and she felt the magic like I did the second she walked in. I said it was a busy day for him because he worked with me all day on a SUNDAY. We signed the paperwork at 8pm on a Sunday evening and it all worked out for the best. We have referred Dean to two of our other friends (he was referred to us by friends) and we have remained friends since he helped us get into our perfect home. We are living out of US and had a quite stretched plan with only 5 days to visit Florida, find the nicest possible house, make an offer, get it approved and kick-off the closing process. I am sure Dean was worry with such a short timeline... but helped by internet and queries/emails in advance of our visit he was able to nail down to very specific options and we ended finding what we wanted in just 4 days (after looking about 15 houses). His work didn't ended there, considering we couldn't be around any longer, he was kind enough to help us with surveys, inspections, insurance, even finding a gardener and a swimming pool company.
