The Watson group did their very best to assist me in my search for a home. I was a special situation and could not find financing for my condo but the Watson office were very good at following up with me by referring me to someone who might be able to help. I am most grateful for the time they spent on me even though I could not purchase the home.

Well I never could get the agent to show me the property. I went out twice at her recommendation and could never locate the property. There was no Watson Realty sign. I then contacted the agent to let her know that once again I could not find the property could she please meet me there? She was never available on Sundays???? This is the only day that I am available due to my work schedule. You would think they would be available to show properties on Sunday. I have never heard from her since I ask her to meet me there on Sunday. Less

We worked with Clair Corbett and her partner, Dave. Both were very professional but also very nice. They dropped everything more than once to accommodate my wife and helped us with the sale of our old home even though it was sold by us to an acquaintance. Being self employed, I had problems getting a mortgage. Clair arranged a meeting with the Watson realty mortgage group and made the whole process much easier. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a home in the Jacksonville area

Since 1988, I have bought and sold homes in a several states. I have never had such poor service in selling a home as I did with Watson Realty of Gainesville. The lack of communication would have been laughable had I not needed to sell the property so badly. I would have switched to a different realtor company had I not been in the middle of a potential buyer contract, before I knew how bad a service I was going to receive from Watson Realty. The problems: 1) rarely, would the agent respond to my few queries made by email or phone. 2) There were virtually no updates provided by the agent. What updates where given amounted to nothing. 3) Lastly, the buyer agent just took control of the transaction, while my agent from Watson Realty did little to nothing. Be careful that your Watson realtor is protecting your interests rather than her own. In order to make sure the sale went through, my realtor sided with the seller's realtor and disputed the amount of the appraisal, indicating it was low. Unfortunately this did not assist in my negotiations to buy the home.

During my first year of leasing with Watson, my property manager named Burt Briel would not return my calls-ever. She only contacted me by email after I called her for any problems. My #1 complaint is lack of communication. Example: The air conditioner hadn't been serviced since 2009 and it is now 2012. The homeowner and Burt Briel came to my home on 5/15/12 and told me that it would be done. Requesting that I remind Burt Briel the next day to have the job done, she emailed me back the following day stating that unless I signed a new lease, she wouldn't have it done. And if I wouldn't sign the contract, to place and window unit in my $1020/mth rental home. Also any major appliance that broke, I was instructed I had to pay $100 cash to Burt Briel in order to have maintenance done at all. I left messages with Corporate about Burt Briel asking them not to disclose my identity to find out my rights and instead of them returning my call, they had Burt Briel herself call my home and threaten me by saying, "It's your word against mine." My husband is in the military and is often on maneuvers. I have been bullied and lied to for an entire year by this company and do not recommend anyone to trust this company what so ever. Less
