Pat and I spoke every night on the phone, and not one conversation went by without Pat noting at some point how lucky she felt that she had found Annie and that she felt so well supported and understood. Annie probably spent enough time with Pat to realize how much Pat relies on her intuition and how important the "feel" of a place (or person) is to her. I contacted Annie when my wife and I wanted to find a property in Maine. ( We are from Massachusetts ) Looking for a "fixer upper" that we could afford took about two years and quite a bit of time on Annie's part. We looked at many properties in those two years and Annie stuck with us throughout until we finely found a property we liked and could afford. While she knew answers no almost every question I could think off, the few times she did not know the answer, she found the answer and got back to me imediately. Being from Michigan, with limited knowledge of the area, with Annie working for us I knew we had an advocate in our corner. This could not have been more obvious than when I compared her work on our behalf versus the 'work' done by another agent. There simply is no comparison. In hte beginning of August the papers were signed on the property in Winterport, Me. There is no doubt that if Annie had not been there to help the closing, paperwork and all that was necessary to make a seemless closing would not have taken place. We were in Maine for the week of 9-17 thru 9-24 in 2011, and had contacted Annie via the web before going up to Maine from Florida. We called her and set up a meeting with her Tuesday AM September 20th at 10:00AM in South Thomaston and spent the next two days riding around mid-cast Maine in Waldo, Lincoln and Knox counties. She was a friendly, high-energy, very knowledgeable person with excellent local knowledge and great connections with other brokers. She showed us many, many properties/homes tailored to our specifications. While we did not buy anything this trip, we now have an excellent idea of where we are headed in that regard, and will only deal with Annie in our future searches. Kudos to her for being not only a great realtor, but also for being a very special person. Annie was the selling broker when we bought our house in Maine. Right after the closing she came over and introduced me to all the neighbors. That was huge! When we decided to rent the house for the winter I called her, knowing that with her people skills she would find us a good tenant.
