I first met Derek through a mutual friend after having a some unproductive experiences with another realtor. Derek was very receptive to my situation and worked with me to find a home within my budget with the amenities I wanted. I travel for work extensively and Derek had worked diligently to provide me with a listing of several homes I was considering. Derek contacted me while I was working in New York to alert me to the shifting market in the Phoenix area. I flew home and he and I went to inspect several homes I was considering. OK, so far, not too different from your run-of-the-mill realtor.. Here's where the difference of having Derek as one's real estate agent is different: I was only able to be in Phoenix for a two days to pick out my new home before I had to return to New York.
