Before hiring her, I interviewed several other real estate agents. In the end, the amount for which my house was sold was higher than the initial listing price proposed by other agents---and Catherine managed to get it done in under four months total time from listing to closing. I was away for most of this time, and Catherine handled everything. When the eventual buyer demanded improvements and wouldn't settle for a reduced sale price, Catherine supervised the required improvements. There were several other difficulties caused by the buyer which Catherine handled with grace and to my complete satisfaction. She was very flexible showing the house to us and we could tell she was very knowledgeable when she answered questions about the house and the procedures of buying the house. We decided not to get our own real estate agent, but to use Catherine as our agent. She was extremely fair and honest in the price negotiation of the house. She was helpful in identifying minor problems with the house and then obtaining reliable repair and service personnel to quickly fix all of the problems. She negotiated for the house owner to provide us with a house insurace policy that would cover any problems with the house that might incur during the first year that we owned the house.
