i started looking at the rocky mount area last summer (2010); in my searching i found a property listed by billy kingery. i contacted him by phone, reviewed with him the type of property i was seeking and made arrangements to meet when my sister and i travelled to roanoke. (we both live out of the area). billy had gathered around 6 properties he thought would be of interest. he had made arrangements with each property owner for us to look which conserved our time since we came in from out of town. he then placed me on the new listing alerts so i received each new listing that might be of interest to me. Last weekend (Easter weekend) my sister and i travelled again to look at what other properties billy had found for me. he met us early on saturday morning and maybe we have found a property that might work for me. the best thing about working with billy is he and his wife, betty, have lived in the area all their lives; he knows the area like the back of his hand and knows a lot of people; he recommended 3 bankers that could be of service to me; but billy's best asset: he listens! he didn't show me any property that wasn't at least 80% or better of what i am looking for. we are just at the beginning of the negotiation part so i can't comment yet on his expertise; however, i will say this man has the patience of Job to deal with me and i am so glad i found him; recommend him to anyone looking in the area.
