Buyers are not stupid and they see through these flimsy sales tactics. I did not notice this behavior from Dan, Melissa and in particular, their agent Nick. I was given Melissa and Dan's name by a friend whose son dealt with them. I contacted them and told them when I would be in the Lake Placid area. Melissa gathered a list of properties that met my criteria. She spent the better part of 2 days showing me the properties on her list and some I looked up myself. OK, so let me be perfectly honest. The chances of me giving 5 stars is about 1%. I just don't give 5 stars because that means the person I'm writing about is perfect..., nobody is perfect right? Well...., guess what. The Debono's are as near perfect I have encountered. Just by chance/luck I reached out to them over the internet (and previous reviews) for helping in buying a home in Sebring. I already had the home chosen, and a roundabout purchase price, and was purchasing from long distance. They sealed the deal for me all the way from first bid to closing on the house.
