My husband and I were visiting our daughter in Ocean Beach and went to an open house in the area. The property we saw was not at all what we were looking for. So the agent (Catrina) suggested that we look at a condo down the street that was up for sale. It was way outside of our price range but we agreed to look just for fun. Well, of course, it was just what we wanted but still way too pricey for us. We still had 5 years to purchase our retirement home so we moved on, not thinking any more about it. Out of the blue, about a year later on a Saturday, Catrina called and said the condo that we liked was now owned by the bank and that they were going to start taking offers on Monday (and they had listed it in our price range). We were very interested but had to get pre-approved for a loan before submitting an offer. We had 1 1/2 days on a weekend to get pre-approved. We didn't even live in the area, so we thought it was going to be impossible! Catrina got on the phone and the next thing we knew we were getting calls from some loan officers and were approved by Sunday night. We made an offer on Monday morning and they accepted our offer on Thursday. We now have the place of our dreams! Catrina worked diligently to help get us pre-approved and submit counter offers. We weren?t even the highest bidder but they liked the offer that Catrina helped put together for us and the bank closed the bidding on the 4th day. I can guarantee that without Catrina?s help, we wouldn?t have gotten the house. She knows the area completely and has a wealth of knowledge. You can count on Catrina to be there for you.
