When I made the decision to proceed with the short sale of my home, I was prepared to endure a horrific experience that we all hear about from friends, colleagues, etc. After 6 months with another broker it became apparent that the broker was distracted and didn't either want or need my business. Based on a referral from a friend of mine, I gave Melissa a call to get her professional opinion on how to move forward with the offer that had been submitted prior but had not received bank approval after 5 months. Within a day we had an agreement with my original broker and within 2 weeks Melissa had approval for the short sale from my first and second bank loans. After signing the documents from the bank, disclosures, etc. we had a done deal and she closed in under 2 months! She is very experienced in selling foreclosure and short-sale property. Many people do not realize how much knowledge is required to complete the sale. She is always on top of things, and having that much knowledge on real estate is huge plus on selling property on this tough market.
