Eileen assisted me in arranging for the short sale of a house that was owned by my wife's cousin. She was both the buyer's agent as well as the listing agent. I purchased the home because my wife's cousin was in financial difficulty and was at risk of losing the roof over his head. Eileen found a great set of comparable properties and worked extremely well with the Bank of America on the short sale process. This was very difficult because the bank procedures were not clear. We had to resubmit an offer after the first one was turned down because the then current owner was not in default (this only occurred because I had made some of his mortgage payments to avoid a potential foreclosure). Eileen was persistent while being polite and worked with me, the closing attorney, and others to arrive at an offering price well below the value of the outstanding mortgage that was also acceptable to the bank. She made the transaction easy for me and if I had not had her aid and assistance, the transaction would have taken much longer and cost me thousands more dollars.
